The Money Charity, the UK’s Financial Capability charity, is delighted to announce new funding from Robinhood U.K. Ltd. to help support its mission of seeing people of all ages across the UK increasing their Financial Capability and Wellbeing.
As the UK’s dedicated Financial Wellbeing and Financial Education charity, The Money Charity has proactively helped provide education, information, advice and guidance to people of all ages for 30 years, to reach their vision of seeing everyone achieving Financial Wellbeing by managing their money well. They empower people across the UK to develop the skills, knowledge, attitudes and behaviours to make the most of their money throughout their lives.
This new support is from Robinhood U.K. Ltd, a wholly owned subsidiary of Robinhood Markets, Inc., the financial services platform with a mission to democratise finance for all. This donation comes as they roll out brokerage services in the UK and will help support the charity’s main activity, the delivery of Financial Education and Financial Wellbeing Workshops and Webinars. These sessions, alongside the charity’s resources for individuals, help engage groups of people of all ages across the UK with getting to grips with their money, in turn increasing their Financial Capability and confidence in managing their money well throughout their life. They help people to make the best financial decisions for themselves and their families, something never more needed than in these current challenging financial times for so many.
Each interactive and engaging Workshop covers a variety of vital areas of good money management, from saving to budgeting, credit to banking, insurance to money safety. Every upbeat and non-judgemental session brings high-quality, expert guidance to the participants, delivered from the charity’s fully independent and impartial viewpoint.
