Volunteer Money Workshops
Our Volunteer Money Workshops are delivered by volunteers from local financial organisations that we partner with. Volunteers are trained by The Money Charity to deliver the hour-long interactive workshop to 11 to 16 year olds.
The workshop is designed to be an introduction to money management, in particular it covers:
- The importance of setting goals and planning ahead;
- How managing your finances can help you achieve your aspirations;
- Why we all need to budget & how to do it;
- Distinguishing between wants and needs;
- Understanding credit.
The volunteer programme is a great way to bridge the gap between financial education, careers and working with the local community.
Please get in touch to see if we have volunteers available in your area.
Request a Workshop
Contact us today to request a workshop. Please make sure you have read and understood our terms and conditions before you book. Sending us your request form will constitute acceptance of our terms and conditions. You can download our Booking Request Form and conditions here. We will be in touch shortly to arrange your session. In normal circumstances, we ask that you give us at least 3 weeks’ notice to arrange the workshop. This should give us sufficient time to provide your school with a presenter or volunteer. However, if you want something sooner than that, you can contact our Education Officer Shirin firstname.lastname@example.org and we will do our best to accommodate you.
