The Money Charity Update on Covid-19

Updated 13/05/2020

Stay Home. Stay Safe. Save Lives.

Due to the ongoing Covid-19 (“Coronavirus”) situation, The Money Charity Senior Management Team and Board of Trustees have taken the difficult decision to temporarily pause (or ‘furlough’) the charity and its work.

The Money Charity staff team were already working remotely with all face-to-face activities suspended until July at the earliest. This further action now means that the charity and all its work will effectively be on hold for a short period of time, with the following consequences:

  • Office. The office will remain closed until further notice and phone calls will not be picked up. Our main @Hello email address will also not be being monitored.
  • Staff. No staff will be available via either telephone or email.
  • Workshops. All booked face-to-face workshop delivery up until the end of June has already been postponed. Virtual workshop delivery (i.e. webinars) will now also not be available. If you still wish to submit a booking request or enquiry for later in the year, you are very welcome to do so, although your request will not yet be received and responded to.
  • Resources. Resource orders and payments may still be made, but will not yet be fulfilled.
  • Finances. The staff team will maintain a basic financial presence for urgent issues such as paying bills and invoices, receiving donations and income etc.

On behalf of everyone at The Money Charity, we wish you health and safety during this challenging period for you and your loved ones, and we look forward to working with you again later in the year!

Stay Home. Stay Safe. Save Lives.
