Extent of UK Debt Problem Revealed in Centre for Social Justice (CSJ) report ‘Maxed Out’

A report written by our very own chairman, and former work and pensions minister, Chris Pond, revealed today that personal debt in the UK is nearing an all-time high. With falling real incomes, low savings, expensive credit and increasing costs of basic essentials, it concluded that many – especially the most vulnerable – are sliding further into problem debt.
