We offer three standard hour long workshops and two standard 100 minute workshops for Post 16 students aged between 16-19 years old. These are the Post 16 a, b and c Money Workshops (60 minutes) and the Post 16 x and Post 16 y Money Workshops (100 minutes).

60 minute options

Post 16a Money Workshop

Our Post 16a Money Workshop is aimed at college and sixth form students that are planning on going to university.  It covers -

  • Planning ahead for the next stages of your life – mainly university;
  • Student finance and managing money at uni.

Post 16b Money Workshop

Our Post 16b Money Workshop is aimed at students not planning to go to university. It covers –

  • Planning ahead for the next stages of your life – Moving out, getting a job
  • Cost of living and the new things you need to consider when living by yourself for the first time.

Post 16c Money Workshop

Our Post 16c Money Workshop is for all students. It helps them understand how to use different financial products to achieve their goals. It covers-

  • The importance of saving and how to save for a goal;
  • How to maintain a good credit rating; and how to use APR
  • Understanding financial products, including insurance.

100 minute workshops

Post 16 x Money Workshop

Our Post 16 x Money Workshop is aimed at college and sixth form students that are planning on going to university.  It covers -

  • Planning ahead for the next stages of your life – mainly university;
  • Saving– understanding how an ISA works;
  • How to maintain a good credit rating; and how to use APR
  • Understanding financial products, including insurance;
  • Student finance and managing money at uni.

Post 16 y Money Workshop

Our Post 16 y Money Workshop covers all of the same content as the Post 16a but with a focus on living independently after sixth form and college. It focuses on the cost of living and the new things you need to consider when living by yourself for the first time, like paying bills.

Our Post 16 workshops are an essential way to improve students’ confidence and skills in managing their finances.

Depending on the path your students will be taking after sixth form or college, you can choose the appropriate workshop for them.

Contact us today to request a workshop. Please make sure you have read and understood our terms and conditions before you book. Sending us your request form will constitute acceptance of our terms and conditions. You can download our Booking Request Form and terms and conditions here. We will be in touch shortly to arrange your session. In normal circumstances, we ask that you give us at least 3 weeks notice to arrange the workshop.  This should give us sufficient time to provide your school with a presenter or volunteer. However if you want something sooner than that, you can contact  Shirin Marashi and we will do our best to accommodate you.
